EyeSecure is Lintek’s flagship industrial-grade camera system engineered for commercial fleets, workplace safety, and AI-powered monitoring. As the only AA-Approved dual-camera dashcam system in New Zealand, EyeSecure is trusted by organisations from AA Driving School fleets to EnviroNZ trucks.

Every EyeSecure system comes standard with full data encryption, ensuring driver and passenger privacy with every recording. From our entry-level dual-lens dashcams to cutting-edge 4G/8-channel 360 degree Forklift AI systems, EyeSecure offers complete situational awareness.

Whether on the road or in the warehouse, EyeSecure is built to capture, alert, and report, all in real time.

Three Reasons Fleets Trust EyeSecure

1: Active & Passive Driver Safety Monitoring

See fatigue before it becomes fatal.

EyeSecure’s AI-powered Driver Monitoring System (DMS) not only warns drivers in real-time when signs of fatigue or distraction are detected, but also instantly reports these events back to HQ. This dual-action protection ensures your safety team has visibility into risky behavior — and can't turn a blind eye when it matters most.

2: Flexible Configuration for Any Vehicle

From forklifts to freight trucks – we adapt.

Whether you need a single dash-mounted camera or a full 8-channel AI-equipped system with live GPS and cloud access, EyeSecure can be fully tailored to suit your operational environment. AI or no AI, cloud or local-only – it’s your fleet, your call.

3: Affordable Pricing & Transparent Plans

No surprises. Just smart safety.

EyeSecure's pricing model is built for fleets large and small. With our entry-level AA Approved dual-lens encrypted camera starting from $549 (one-time), and optional GMS cloud service from only $19 per vehicle/month, you get real ROI without being locked into expensive licenses.

From NZ’s First Taxi Cameras to AI-Powered Fleet Safety: The EyeSecure Journey

EyeSecure’s origins trace back to 2011, when the New Zealand Government introduced a requirement for all taxis to be fitted with NZTA-approved camera systems by 2012. In response, Lintek developed TaxiTrek, one of NZ’s first fully NZTA-certified in-house camera systems. Rapidly adopted by fleets across the country — from Whangarei to Invercargill — Lintek’s systems gained national recognition and media exposure through installations with Wellington Combined Taxis, Dunedin Taxis, and Gisborne Taxis, appearing on national TV and in newspapers.

With over 40 Lintek camera agents nationwide, TaxiTrek became one of the most widely deployed camera systems in the country. By 2015, Lintek launched NZ’s only AA-approved dashcam, establishing itself as a leading provider of industrial-grade camera technology.
As NZTA's taxi camera requirements phased out, Lintek pivoted to create the EyeSecure series — purpose-built for all types of vehicles including commercial trucks, forklifts, and fleet cars — bringing encrypted recording, GPS tracking, and AI-powered driver assistance into a new era of workplace and road safety.

EyeSecure Timeline — From NZ’s First Taxi Cams to Advanced AI Fleet Safety:

2011 — TaxiTrek T1 Origins

Following a shocking incident involving a taxi driver, the New Zealand Government mandated that all taxis be fitted with camera systems to enhance driver safety. Lintek began developing its first in-house camera system, TaxiTrek T1, built to meet newly proposed NZTA guidelines—similar to Australia’s approved systems. The team travelled nationwide to consult directly with taxi operators, ensuring the final product was practical, budget-conscious, and tailored to real-world conditions.

With R&D complete, Lintek began its first major rollout of TaxiTrek T1. Over 2,000 vehicles were equipped within three months across New Zealand. Lintek trained over 40 camera agents and launched a national installation campaign. This deployment also included the LT-110 GPS Tracker with panic alarm capabilities—Lintek’s first integrated vehicle safety solution.

The nationwide installs were complete. Lintek spent the year debugging, refining, and learning from the field. The compressed design timeline left little room for extended testing, but the rollout laid a strong foundation for future ruggedized camera platforms.

Approached by AA Driving School, Lintek was asked to develop a privacy-focused dashcam system suitable for instructor vehicles—one that was fully self-contained, unlike the DVR-based TaxiTrek system. This marked the beginning of the EyeSecure range: smarter, smaller, encrypted, and easier to install.

Drawing on NZTA camera experience, Lintek launched the LT-325—New Zealand’s first AA-approved dual-lens dashcam. It included GPS logging, G-sensor, encrypted video, and 640×480 resolution. Though modest by today’s standards, it met privacy and legal compliance and was the starting point for EyeSecure’s commercial range.

A new HD version of the camera debuted with 720p resolution, allowing clearer plate capture. This improvement was key in multiple insurance incidents and proved the importance of image clarity in real-world fleet use.

With Sony 1080p lenses and integrated 4G GPS, Lintek launched GMS—its own cloud-connected fleet platform. For the first time, operators could view live feeds and download footage remotely without physical access to storage cards. This marked the transition from standalone cameras to smart fleet solutions.

The LT-800 Series brought industrial-scale multi-camera support to trucks, buses, and specialist vehicles. With 8-channel video recording, built-in screens, and telematics, it became the workhorse for heavy-duty clients.

The LT-800 Series was upgraded to include:

  • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance)
  • DMS (Driver Monitoring System)
  • BDS (Blind Spot Detection)

These AI functions elevated EyeSecure from a passive camera system to an active safety platform—warning drivers of hazards they may miss, such as pedestrians behind reversing vehicles.

With AI hardware miniaturizing, EyeSecure integrated core AI functions into its compact dual-lens dashcams. The LT-340AI became the first AA-approved smart camera in NZ with AI pedestrian detection in a small form factor—blending convenience with cutting-edge safety.

The LT-800 series now features a full 360° birds-eye AI camera system with pedestrian detection and BDS, maintaining GPS and 4G live-feed capabilities. This full-coverage system offers unmatched visibility and protection for large vehicle fleets.

The next frontier for EyeSecure is modular AI. Following market demand, Lintek is developing DMS-only cameras for clients whose vehicles already have camera systems but lack modern AI driver monitoring. EyeSecure continues evolving in step with client feedback and AI progress.
